Inspired by the cup holder contest and Star Wars, I present to you the Mechanical Docking Coaster. Designed with 3D printing in mind, three arms have a c-spring loaded to stay at a 40-degree angle, ready for docking your favorite cup, beverage, or small bowl. Assembly I included a short animation that describes how to insert the c-spring into the channel at the pivot point of the arm. After that spring is in place, position the arm at about a 40-degree angle to line-up the joint spring stops (small vertical line that bisects the recess in the joint). Please share any tips for printing, coloring, or assembling. My hope is that this model is fun for you, family or friends that you print and share this with. Enjoy!
