Mechanical Ventilator

This ventilator is mechanically operated by an electric motor rotating a shaft, which turns the central gear. The gears rotate the link that compresses air bags. Two air bags are used, one for inhalation, and another for expiration, which are controlled by a control valve. The vents have a bacterial filter to ensure the patient is inhaling clean air, along with ensuring any infection virus is not spread into the atmosphere from the patient with the virus.
