Welcome! This is the scientific project of the team LEGOLÀCTICS (Catalonia, Spain) for our participation in the First Lego League "City Shape" challenge.
ENG - In our scientific project we want to improve the medical emergency system (SEM). Currently, in the event of an emergency, a witness must call the SEM to report the problem. The SEM will ask for information on the person's state of health, but the information will be incomplete and communication will take a few minutes, which can be crucial. If necessary, medical personnel will be move to the place by an ambulance or helicopter, which may have traffic or accessibility problems, as well as contamination.
That is why we have designed a system in which anyone who wants it can implant a microchip. The microchip would be constantly monitoring the person's state of health and, in case of detecting any problems, it would send a message to the cellphone and/or smart bracelet.
