Medieval font

This is a printout of 14th century font, thanks to scans from Usher Gallery and The Collection in Lincoln, see http://lincoln3dscans.co.uk/font-two/

To be more printable, i cut the object into two parts at the spot, where the original is joined. Then, the upper part with the basin was also cut a bit and the inner part was flattened, additionaly, i added support structures with meshmixer.

Recommendedn slicing settings (slic3er): 200um, PLA, infill 5% hexagonal, for the basin, i recommend the circular top/bottom fill patern, it looks more natural.

Printed in black PLA and glued together with 5 minute epoxy. The only empty section on the leg alligns against the only sign section of the basin .
Drybrushed the details with acrylic grey and white.
I never saw the original, it should be limestone, so my color choice is probably wrong, but anyway, i like it:D
