Medium Chicken Egg

With Orthodox Easter just around the corner(May 2nd, 2021) I thought I'd also give it a try to model an egg based on the 21oz medium size egg, according to USDA. So, here is my 3D rendering of an eggshell. Because there is no organic material available, preferably calcium carbonate, the main component of the eggshell, I chose sapphire. Very random material to make an egg from. As for the texture, I tried to make it as realistic as I could, so, to be able to mimic the porphyrin pigment in the shell, I chose sandstone.
