Medium Format View Camera (10cm x 10cm)

First off, this is very much a work in progress! This is a small, simple medium format view camera. My goal with this, is to have a small, cheap to build medium format camera, that can shoot either roll film or sheet film, have interchangeable lenses, and can be focused with a ground glass.

I have wanted something specifically for testing out new large format film/plate stocks (xray, ortho litho, etc.) without needing to shoot a single full 4x5 frame. As such, I am going to be building a small 2"x2.5" back for this (a normal 4x5 sheet of film cut in half). For this purpose, I don't need any movements, and so I figured I would build something as simple as possible.

The design is loosely based on William Henry Fox Talbot's early calotype cameras, which are simple boxes, overlapping to allow for focus. I figured this would be a great place to start, and will hopefully give me insight into future camera designs.
