This is a set of jaws for a Medline pickup tool. The first set I made was OK but the gripping ability was limited. So I went back to the drawing board and angled the jaw face to try to get a better grip. That was not the best solution. So I tried to print a set of TPU covers for the jaws but was unsuccessful getting a durable result. So back to the design and I added teeth to my previous jaws. I printed these out and tried them with better effect. I have printed them in PLA, PETG, and ABS trying to get some durability. My current set is done in ABS. None of the filaments I have tried are completely durable. So I keep a few extra sets made up so it is just a matter of minutes to fix the tool. I would like to try Nylon sometime to see how it holds up. For ABS I used these temps, 250/95. For PETG I used 230/75. And for PLA I used 205/60. *I have an update for this item. I found that sometimes the jaws started not aligning with each other so I have modified the jaw to make sure that they align. I'm uploading right jaw and left jaw Stl files so you can print a set that perfectly align. I have uploaded a .3mf file for using PETG which should give you the profile settings to print these.
