MEF GE BRACKET

I wanted to try something different than most of the designs I've seen submitted. The idea behind this design is based on a grid array of small spherical cut-outs in an attempt to lighten the bracket up universally. I did a few macro edits to the external geometry, but for the most part the spherical cutouts represent the intent behind the design. FEA simulations are time consuming, but I don't think they are generating accurate results. My work consumes most of my free time and I've had not much opportunity to work on a detailed externally modified bracket, but I wanted to present something 'outside of the box.' Currently the weight is 1.9 lbs.
