Mercury-Class Courier

Derived from NCC-2013 Bold Venture from the newspaper comics between Trek 1 and 2 (Specifically in the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, between July and September of 1982). She was one of several ships participating in a starship race, next to last to leave (With Enterprise- the fastest ship- at the end).

Since it has no name or official designation I call this the Mercury class couriers. The experimental engine was promising but they were phased out for the Sydney-class transports, which while slower were more economical.
