The mesh cup’s walls print flat as a single piece with pre-modeled fold lines, allowing it to be formed into an octagon. After folding, the base and retention rings secure the shape. When filling the cup, you can just add the soil around your plant start, or optionally use the transplant plug mold. Insert the plug mold from the top, flip the pot over, remove the base cap, and add soil. Once filled, replace the base cap, flip the cup upright, and remove the mold to leave a pre-formed cavity for small starter plugs. When it’s time to transplant into the ground or a larger pot, slip off the base and retention rings. The mesh wall peels away as a single sheet. The mesh size and pattern can be adjusted by changing the “sparse infill density.”Boost MeIf you find this model practical/useful/interesting!
