I needed somewhere to put my Surface Pen, so I made a place to put it. I'm very new to 3D printing so the whole thing is kind of a joke about learning all the ins-and-outs. I made it in Tinkercad, practicing my geometry.
It's perfectly obvious that the stand can STAND on it's own, it builds perfectly at a 45 degree angle, but I added some ridiculously overworked hand-made cubes at weird angles to "support" it (which are completely unnecessary and much harder to print) - like a little kid trying to prove something is 3D printed. Then it turned out to be actually very good at it's job! The ring is in just the right place to not interfere with any pen-clips, the pen can't slide out, you can make it pretty heavy if you infill it, and I actually like how it looks.
It holds a pen, stylus, or tablet-type pen. It'll hold one of those golden expensive-people pens, if it's not too huge, and you can just scale it up anyways. I think you'd have to scale for a regular sized Sharpie, but i
