Metric Drill Bit Block

This is a Metric Drill Bit Block for 1mm to 10mm drill bits in 0.5 mm increments (19 pieces total). The holes are slightly larger than the drill bits to provide some clearance and tolerance for small layer shifts/mild over extrusion. Since it is common for printers to make holes smaller than what is actually designed.

MK6 is now the latest iteration. MK5 and MK4 haven't been printed or tested, but MK5 might make MK6 unnecessary so I've left it up. What MK6 does is hide air channels at the base of all the drill holes to prevent a vacuum from being created as the drill bit is removed causing it to stick in the block.

In the MK5 version I added a slight 1° Chamfer to the holes to try and prevent a vacuum from forming as the bits are removed from the block and causing them to stick. MK5 also corrects a type-o that transposed the text for the 4.5 and 4mm holes.

I recently bought a set of 19 Metric drill bits from Amazon and was surprised that they just came in a plastic bag.
