Mickey Mouse Ornament

Needed a Larger tree ornament for A Disney themed tree. Since I couldn't find one, I started out with siddharthksah's Super Cool Christmas Mickey Mouse Keychain and used it to cut cross sections and scale them up for the project. I wanted it to be multi color, so I created a base that I could attach colored inserts. The inserts are .2mm smaller than the base so they are quite tight. Deburr the bottom of the inserts and tap in place with a pad and mallet. Some pieces will need to be hot glued into place.

I wanted to be able to use as an ornament or a tree topper so I added slots to the back so zip ties can be used to attach it to the top of the tree. To use as an ornament i just screws in a small (picture hanger) eyebolt.
