BBC's Micro:bit is a lovely little platform to power simple yet clever projects.
You can use the two real-life, physical buttons and display information using the LED grid only.
But you can achieve more if you plug external peripherals, like servos, speakers. Micro:bit boards offer two connectors for external 3V power and ground. And three connectors to connect whatever you want to it to interact with your program.
And my design starts here: how do you easily connect external devices to the board, without having to permanently dedicate the board to one project? That is without soldering wires directly on the board or having wobbly alligator clips connected to it.
What you will get: a cradle to connect your micro:bit board to 5 wires available for every project you have in mind. The cradle is permanently connected to the wires. Your micro:bit board simply slides in and out to benefit from the connectors.
What you need:
- PLA
- brads (brass paper fasteners)
- small col
