In my ongoing series of Sputnik model rockets I present the pinnacle of achievement...or is it the nadir, since it's the smallest?

In either event, it's a model rocket version of the famous Sputnik built for Micro Maxx motors!

The rocket itself is two quick to print parts and four 120mm pieces of 1.5mm carbon fiber rod. You'll also need a piece of shock cord to hold the nose to the body for this rockets tumble style recovery.

Once assembled with a Micro Max motor inside this thing will fly to an astonishing...err...maybe 50 feet or so high. Seriously, micro max motors are tiny. What do you expect. Unlike most micro max rockets, you'll actually be able to see this one flying.

The included display base is two additional printed pieces joined by another 50mm piece of 1.5mm carbon fiber rod.
