Hi! This micro frame has been designed from scratch with 3d printing in mind. It is designed to be strong, but as lightweight as possible. It is for 65mm props (or 56mm) with 07xx/08xx motors. The perfect frame for conversion from a Mobula 7 or Trashcan parts for example.
The bare frame weight is only 4 grams! (approx in pla)
It comes in 3 flavours, 16x16 95mm m2m (3.8g), 20x20 100mm m2m(4.0g) and 26x26 100mm m2m (4.2g) for BL whoop conversion.
In my unscientific tests I found the frame can take over 1kg of force before breaking, even in PLA!
And it prints in under 30 minutes!
Use 0.2 layer height with standard 0.4 nozzle.
Increase the number of walls to 10 to force the print to be solid with no infill.
Flip the model over onto the flat side for printing. No supports required. No brim required for PLA (recommended for ABS/PETG). For some reason, I had far better results using Slic3r, even though i usually use Cura. Ensuring a good base layer is important and it see
