My Micro-Quadcopters
See the video:https://youtu.be/NNmSKSIQRBE
Three designs of a micro quadrocopter for garden und park racing and learning to fly.
The frame size is (rotor to rotor) 68 mm x 68 mm and 78 mm x 68 mm.
The version 78x68 is a little bit easier to fly for beginners, but some bit heavier.
I designed these frames because I was tired of buying carbon frames, defective cameras or antennas and other spare parts after every crash. Even though they are a little bit less lightweight than carbon frames, the quads are flying good and the frame is easy to print and replaceable.
The L3GO-Version is for my little daughters. They fly without camera but with their favorite characters Olivia and Emma from Lego Friends as pilot and passenger.:-)
Some advantages to some other designs I tried:
- The camera has a housing and is more protected in case of a crash.
- The frame top protects receiver and flight controller
- The flight controller is held in place on the frame
