This is a version 2 of a project I worked on more than 2 year ago, but never really finished - until now!
This 0-1 micrometer (It can measure up to 50mm theoretically) has a 0.01mm resolution, is entierely 3d printed without supports and features an adjustable zero screw and a ratchet end.
All the parts are already best oriented and I suggest to print them one at the time to get a better finish. 0.1mm layer height is mandatory and a 0.2mm nozzle is recommended, but I did mine with a 0.4 no problem.
I suggest to print Adjustment_Screw and Adjustment_Screw_Insert first to be sure everything fits. If not, reduce the scale of Adjustment_Screw of 1% for the x and y directions only and print again.
Once everything is printed, glue in Adjustment_Screw_Insert and Main_Screw_Insert inside Body, CA glue works great. The Thimble needs to be inserted in the Main_Screw, the Ratchet in the Thimble and the Knruled_Grip over all that with a little bit of glue. Align the Main_Screw's 0 to t
