Microphone Holder

I didn't like the flimsy look of some of the other holders and did this one with the features I wanted.

This one is specifically sized for larger USB microphones like the one that came with RockBand. The barrel size tapers and is about 1.25 inch in diameter in the middle. Measure your microphone to determine the fit. It would be too large for a professional mircrophone like a Shure 57/58.

I had 1/4" carriage bolts on hand and sized the holes to fit. A square recess holds the head of the carriage bolt from spinning. Use a locking nut and tighten to just the right amount of friction. The base includes the 5/8" x 27 threads necessary to screw on to a commercial mic stand. The Fusion 360 files are included for you to modify it as necessary.
