Microscope Column ExtenderI have been using this wonderful microscope for a long time, I made a lens protection for it earlier, which is also available among the works. But this time I decided to make him an extension for the tripod column. Since I mainly use it for soldering electronics, there is a situation where you need a slightly smaller scale to get an image, but it magnifies too much that only one SMD detail is visible on the screen with the microscope fully raised. The column itself can be made in several ways: using ready-made tubes from a CO2 laser head (as in my case); using a standard aluminum anodized pipe with a diameter of 25 mm with a wall thickness of 1 mm (search in hardware stores); or buy ready-made extension cords that I found after I made my own version; or you can buy separately a high column with a long gear rack, which is more preferable (probably.. but it's not certain :) )Among the files there are both options, as well as links to ready-made tripod components.
