Never print without it - really useful for first layer monitoring, nozzle blockages, identifying damp filament and general monitoring. The attached video is with the other lights switched off

The holder has 2 holes for 2 optional regular LEDs (I use 2.2V LEDs with a 220 ohm resistor in series, powered by the rpi octoprint server @ 5V. Don't forget the resistors if you're using LEDs - you can fry the LEDs otherwise. The holder has cable-guides

Use it with octoprint or the equally excellent OBS studio
