Microscope Stand

This stand allows adjusting magnification ratio of the digital lcd microscope.

I had purchased such microscope for electronic component examination and soldering. When it gets delivered i noticed that the magnification is too much for me. I decided to build a stand with adjustable height function and designed this.

You can adjust the height in 40mm - 200mm range. The zoom effect can be seen at the photos.

I have placed rubber bands as shown at the photos. They introduce more friction to keep the microscope in place and helps both to reduce noise and gives smooth feel during adjustments.

I think this design is good for it's purpose and works fine, so i would like to share.
