Microswitch build for scanner

Very impressed with the original and very popular scanner. However, I found that my earphone set could not be made to fit.
I went to Jaycar and got a microswitch (dimensioned as one of the "things") to fit in.
I wanted to design something that *did not* need the main assembly to be cut or reprinted.
