Midui - open source MIDI pad

This is an open souce MIDI pad based on Adafruit's Mini UNTZtrument. The main aim of this project was to build a two-pad midi controller for Trellis PCBs.

Starting from Mini UNTZtrument, I tried to redesign it and improve it a bit. The first thing I did was to add an extra Trellis PCB. This way, you can control each pad with each hand, making it easier to play and control.

Also, I decided to switch the normal potentiometers for some sliding ones. Now you can change the values you have mapped just with your thumbs!

Finally, I went for an eassier way to assemble it and nicer finish. This drove me to place all the counterbored holes on the bottom of the base, making the assembly in one direction while hidding all the screws at the same time.

This is still a work in progress, so i would recomend you to wait for newer versions with better tolerances for a smooth fit. Hope you like it :)
