MIG spool brake

Unlikely this will fix your welder but posted in case it helps someone. This is for a cheap MIG130 gasless welder, I modded the thing for DC welding too with a rectifier (second photo, DCEN .. gun negative for FCAW, MASSIVE improvement to spatter etc).
The problem was the wire feeding on after trigger released meaning the wire would often stick to the weld pool, adding this brake has helped a great deal to minimise the run on, all it had before was more of a retainer with minimal tension and no adjustment. Tap the 2 holes and add 15mmx3mm bolts to adjust tension.
