Mill Vise Tray - V02

A tool holder tray to attach to backside of movable jaw of mill vise, to help support those repetitive manual machining operations (e.g. step drilling, drilling/tapping, etc...). Tray fits snuggly (at below given dimensions), but easy enough to remove when not in use or to simply dump out machining chips. Sixteen sizes: 2" x 6" through 6" x 8", with and without dividers at 1/4, 2/4, and 3/4 positions.

Version 2 gains ~1/4" more interior space over Version 1, by use of button head style bolts.

Fits vise brands (e.g. Shars Tegara, Kurt, etc...) with 1/2-13" threaded holes and 3.875" bolt spacing 0.94" height of vise bed.

For retention, the tray utilizes button socket head 1/2-13 x 1" bolts with spacers 1/2" ID x 5/8" OD x 3/16" length (could be steel, brass, aluminum, printed composite, etc...), and no washers required (i.e. like V01).
