Millright Dust Shoe Retainers

These twist lock retainers both hold the dust shoe on the Millright Mega V from twisting as well as eliminate the need for magnets to hold it to the mounting plate.

The center line of the dust shoe will need to be marked, and these parts positioned first in order to mark the position of the hole that will need to be drilled. I used 6mm machine screws, so the parts are designed for that diameter.

The top twist locks have a small chamfer that faces the router and require the use of 5mm machine screws.

The yellow shoe mounting plate must be tightened most of the way first, having just enough slack in order to slide the mounting plate over the end of the router. If not pre-tensioned the printed parts will be spread and could risk breakage.
