Mimo is a compact DIY desktop robot built around an ESP32-S3 and a 1.69" SPI IPS display.
Designed as a small interactive desk companion, Mimo combines electronics, coding, 3D design, and personality into a single build. With animated eyes, expressive UI, sound effects, clock and alarm functions, and a clean futuristic look, Mimo is made to feel like a small digital character living on your desk.
The project uses a custom animated interface, battery-powered electronics, and a 3D printed enclosure. It can also be expanded with additional features such as touch interaction, status indicators, weather display, and other future upgrades.
