NOTE: THIS IS DESIGNED TO FALL APART IF YOU SWING IT AROUND!! IT IS NOT A DESIGN FLAW.. IT IS A FEATURE! I am aware this falls apart, I did not want my kids to be able to hit each other with them. If this will be an issue for you please don't spend the time or filament printing it. My kids were very persistent about wanting the Minecraft sword and pickaxe toys, but knowing them, one would undoubtedly end up using it on the other, so I didn't really want them to have them. The kids kept asking for them daily, I started to feel bad and we found a middle ground. Here we have a "safe" alternative. The little pegs are just long enough to hold the bricks in place but short enough that if swung at someone, the blade will break mid-swing before making contact. (During one of the test swings, the top part took flight! So be careful with that, but for the most part, during testing, it just fell to the ground mid-swing.) Hardware 2 x m4x20 2 x M4 Nuts These are in the guard so the weight of the blade does not pop it apart. Besides that the rest is pressure fit (or glued if you want more strength to it) Assembly Notes: Ensure the blocks face each other as shown in the photo; otherwise the bricks might have a gap between them. If you have trouble removing a part, use a hammer to knock it out. Assemble in rows like the photos show. You can use glue to reinforce it. (i used some gel superglue) This way, it might withstand a bit more playful swinging, but ultimately, it should still break apart. The Sword is about 68cm (27 inches) top to bottom Again, they fall apart by design, please don't give a negative review because of it.
