Mini Connector

I designed these connectors to use JST SM contacts. These are "in-line" connectors unlike the commonly available XH connectors that have the male part designed for PC board mounting. Occasionally I have need for a couple of connectors and don't want to buy a whole box. One can purchase the SM contacts inexpensively and have on hand when the need arrises (ebay or Aliexpress). One also has the option to color code the connectors for your application.

These parts are relatively small and should be printed at a slow speed. I used ABS printed at 40mm/s. Some touch up after printing with a needle file may be required. I hand crimp the contacts with needle nose pliers and use a very slight touch of solder.
