Mini Desktop Mobile Tool Box

This is my submission for the Autodesk Fusion 360 Challenge presented by Maker Bot.


The goal behind my design for this challenge was to create a small tool box to hold various tools associated with a 3D printing or any commonly used tools at one's workstation. Too often, designers, makes, tinkerers, and alike find themselves rearranging objects on their desks to feel less cluttered and more comfortable. Now with this Mini Desktop Mobile Tool Box anyone can store a few tools in one organized place. When it's not being used it can be rotated off to the side of one's desk freeing up more space for them to work.

UPDATE (6/15/2019)
I have printed all the parts and they work great! The hinge can be a little tricky but once it slides into place it works just fine. One thing to note is to be careful with the front clip that keeps the lid shut, I used PLA and it flexes just enough but If not careful may break easily.
