The Extractor Hoods are thin-walled and designed to optimize the size of my build plate. The thin walls also pose a problem for plate adhesion. I print on a Creality Ender 3 and use the Cura slicer so in order to get it to both fit and stick. I reduced the brim size to 4 mm and turned off Outside Only, making sure it is in good contact with the edge. I also recommend kicking up the infill to about 40% and increasing the inner wall count. You know your machine best, so basically, anything you can do to help layer adhesion will be a plus in ensuring you get a successful print.
It's designed to fit two 120 mm case fans. I recommend 12-volt High CFM fans.
The ones I use are 150 CFM each.
Also, and this is important. I do not recommend using this device with any spray can or solvent-based paint. I only use it for acrylic paint and doing some light sanding. It's not a replacement for a properly ventilated spray booth.
