🛠️ Project Overview This is a fun 3D printing project for a mechanical toy called the Spring Clicker! The project is split into two separate parts that you print and snap together. To get it ready, the model is loaded into a computer program called a slicer. The slicer cuts the 3D model into thin layers and creates a file that tells the printer exactly where to move. 🖨️ The Printer and Build Plate The project is set up specifically for a Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer. The Nozzle: It uses a standard 0.4mm nozzle to melt and squeeze out the plastic. The Build Plate: It uses a Bambu Textured PEI Plate. This is a special, bumpy metal sheet that helps the hot plastic stick down tightly so the print doesn't fail. 📊 Detailed Model Breakdown Object NamePlateDimensions (mm)VolumeTrianglesSpring Clicker.stlPlate 1$25.18 \times 23.21 \times 10.00$$2289.89 \text{ mm}^3$5,734Key cap (9 required).stlPlate 2$13.70 \times 17.99 \times 17.30$$1150.87 \text{ mm}^3$1,228 The Spring Base (Plate 1): This is the main mechanical part. It looks like a plastic zigzag or accordion that squishes down and pops back up when you press it. The Key Cap (Plate 2): This is the button top. It looks exactly like a key cap from a computer keyboard and snaps right onto the spring. ⚙️ Print Settings Explained The project uses a customized 0.16mm High Quality setting profile. This ensures the toy functions perfectly. Layer Height (0.16mm): Each layer of plastic is super thin. This makes the outside surfaces look very smooth so the parts move without catching. Filament: It uses standard PLA Basic plastic, which is easy to print and very sturdy. Infill (20% Cubic): The inside of the toy isn't hollow, but it isn't solid plastic either. It has a hidden 3D grid pattern inside to keep it strong while saving plastic. No Supports: The shapes are designed so they do not need any temporary support pillars. The printer can build them straight up into the air cleanly. ⏱️ Time, Material, and Cost Estimates MeasurementPl
