Mini table saw blade protection

I recently bought this mini table saw, which stay in my workshop/garage:

It's nice and fun, but then the blade stays accessible to dust, and at the same time the house cats (or kids!) could hurt themselves. So here is a simple protection for the blade, which also keeps the miter gauge!
