I have been trying all the listed modified fan mounts for an Ender 3 using stock fans, in my opinion many are over complicated. After printing out the "MinV2 Cooler by ThijsRio this appeared to be simple and effective. The modifications I applied were to assist rigidity of the backplate mount.
To achieve this I increased the thickness by 0.5mm, increased the hole diameter to accept a "rivnut" and added a small retaining clip.
Also increased the hole size in the fan mount.
The only downside is hardware required and removal of hot end to fit.
Have found the back plate distorts after time, therefore I have updated the design of the backplate (V6) and the clip (V1) also printed it in PETG.
