mini water pump

I designed this mini water pump so for an automated indoor plant watering system but could be used for many things. It does work but if there are any other designs that could improve it then that would be great, let me know! I'm not an engineer, I just like to attempt to make things. I used a small motor to run the pump. It may require slight sanding to put the pieces together as they are pretty snug. also some hot glue to make it air tight.
