Mini XLR chassis receptacle protector

I have a mini XLR chassis receptacle for a thermocouple that connects to a PID controller mounted on a project box door. I was worried about flexing and bumping the delicate mini XLR solder connections and this seems to work.
Threads are 7/16-32UN 2B and fit my receptacle nicely.
After verifying continuity, a drop of hot melt glue makes the installation permanent and trouble free.
