This is a pendulum wave that can be printed on the A1 Mini in less than 3 hours. I have included print profiles for the A1 Mini and for X,P and A series printers. I have also included all the stl files and the Fusion design file if you want to play around with the design. Here is a link to a higher quality 30 second video (GIF is jerky) Mini Pendulum Wave.mp4 Pendulum waves are unique demonstration of the physics of oscillation. The lengths of the pendula are set such that in a given time t, the first pendulum completes x oscillations, and each subsequent one completes one more oscillation than the previous. As all pendula are started together, their relative phases change continuously, but after time t, they come back in sync and the sequence repeats. I designed the lengths of the pendula for a 15 second oscillation period. This is the formula for pendulum length:Where:L= length of the pendulum in metersT= oscillation period in secondsg= gravitational accelerationk= is a constant dete

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Miniature Pendulum Wave need supports when printing?
Yes, Miniature Pendulum Wave will probably need supports for the overhangs. Tree supports work well here and are easier to remove than regular ones.
How long does it take to print Miniature Pendulum Wave?
According to the design notes, Miniature Pendulum Wave takes approximately 3 hours to print at standard settings (0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill). Actual print time varies based on your printer speed, layer height, and infill density.
What file format is Miniature Pendulum Wave available in?
Miniature Pendulum Wave is available in STL format. These files can be opened and sliced using free software such as Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, or OrcaSlicer for FDM printing, or ChiTuBox and Lychee Slicer for resin printing. The download is provided through MakerWorld.
Is Miniature Pendulum Wave free to download?
Yes, Miniature Pendulum Wave is available as a free download through MakerWorld. Always check the license on the original platform to understand commercial use, remixing, and attribution requirements.
