I was making a case for may Prusa i3 clone and choose MDF to make it. In order to put it together i used this jig to make it easier to match the holes for the minifix eccentrics and it worked quite good for a dozen of holes ( probably not gonna last much but i didn't see any wear). Printed from ABS, probably gonna work with PETG and PLA as long as not overheated during drilling.
Some other tools are needed of course:
- Some kind of dowel jig - I already had "wolfcraft dowel master", but there are probably plenty of models in thinginverse also
- 15mm Forstner bit for the minifix hole. There is STL of a lock ring included so you can limit the depth - you will need M3 screw and a nut for it
- 8mm drill bit for wood for the dowel pins
