Minimalist Watch Stand Base

I printed the minimalist watch stand (full credit to the originator of the design... amazing!) and found that it would not stand without assistance. The design was also front-heavy when a watch was fitted.

I have designed a base that will accept the minimalist watch stand arm. There are two models provided, a triple mount base for holding three watches and the other is a model for the individual receptacle that can be easily stacked lengthwise to mount as many watches as you want.

I printed my example out of generic PLA using an Ender 3. If you rotate the models in your slicer so that the holes are vertical, you won't have to use supports. I did use a brim when I printed the triple base as there is only 5mm of contact area on the build plate when you print it vertically. You probably don't need to use a brim if your printer lays down a good first layer.
