I needed to mount my raspberry pi inside a cabinet, but didn't have 2.5mm Screws for it. I also wanted to allow as much air as possible to reach the Pi to help cooling it.
This mounting adapter consists of two parts, the top part has four pins that are friction fit into the bottom part. Make sure to sand the pins after printing to make it fit better, otherwise you risk breaking of a pin!
The backplate has 4 holes for 3mm screws to mount the Pi to wall/board.
This mount was designed using OpenSCAD, so it should be pretty easy to modify it for other screw sizes. Just keep in mind that it does require my own OpenSCAD library which you can find at https://github.com/mayjs/mayscadlib.
