The insert on my 2005 Minimax MM16 table saw was a bit warped and needed to be replaced. I designed this replacement in Tinkercad.
There are two versions top choose from: “MiniMax - 16 Insert Square” and; “MiniMax Insert 8 Deg Back”. The hole in the casting where this insert sits on my MM16 is far from square. The back wall of the casting slanted in towards the bottom by 8 degrees. That makes a square insert like the original insert not fit properly. I solved this with the original insert by bending the screws. To better correct the problem, I engineered the insert to have a similar 8 degree slant on the back end. This version fits my BS perfectly.
Check to see if your casting is square or has a slanted face in the back and use whichever version is more appropriate for your BS. The “MiniMax - 16 Insert Square” version is the direct replacement for the original MiniMax insert.
I printed these on my Bambu P1S with eSUN PLA using the Bambu PLA profile. These will print fi
