Space-saving vintage-look mini microphone stand. For displaying classic microphones like the Shure 55S, or Electro-Voice 664.
Styling similar to a Shure Model 36 stand, but with a straight vertical shaft so the stand can be used with longer end either forward or back.
The wired version is to display mics with cables.
The "threaded" area is an easy to print gear shape that will be shaped into threads by your mic or mic-clip. My printer doesn't do fine enough work to put in actual 5/8-27 threads (I tried; it was bad.)
---
I have more classic microphones than I have stands, and the stands I do possess have bases so wide as to make it difficult to display more than a few at a time on a bookshelf. I needed more stands that had a smaller footprint. My favorite classic stand is the Shure Model 36 stand with it's streamlined jet-age look, so these mini stands are styled similarly. The mini mic stands' 4-inch by 2.667-inch footprint makes them stable enough to hold a vintag
