I have been looking for a easy option to panel mount a micro USB socket, usually for powering small items such as USB led strips and the like. I found it surprising that they were uncommon.
I did find that Micro USB breakout boards were cheap and easy to find so I made this mount for them.
The hole required is 17mm and the screw spacing is 24mm center to center. This model is designed for a 3mm wall thickness as Im using acrylic sheet. This is designed around this USB breakout board, This is a local supplier to me but you can find them on ebay.
