This is an electronics enclosure I made to house the electronics for my homemade misting system. I am using it for 2 of my Geckos.
I was originally going to use an Arduino but it kept resetting on me because of the transients from the solenoid valves when they turn off. Did a lot of research to find out what was going on and what happened. I had to add a diode and capacitor to stop having the issues. I am using that top relay as a glorified terminal block.
I have 2 barrel plugs installed. 1 for the pump power and 1 for the solenoid power.
I will try and draw up a schematic of how I wired this up.
Mounting holes are made for a #4 1/2" flat head screw.
That brown wire is from when I was keeping the Raspberry Pi away from the relays. I had made this box as a way to separate the dirty electronics. I made the lid to mount the Pi inside. I removed that brown set of wires and put in jumpers from the Pi mounted to the lid.
Relay 1 (IN1 - Bottom Relay) - Pump
Relay 2 &
