Mitre clamp block

Clamp block for glueing wood mitre joints. You need two clamp blocks to do the job.
I hope these blocks help glue and press a mitre joint.

update: I updated the block somewhat, I removed the heightened clamping spot, that's just a weak spot compared to no heightening.
Maybe it needs more updating, e.g. a corded bottom to prevent it from moving... I didnt do that, because you would then see these cords in the wood...
Anyway, I attached the sketchup file, so go ahead :)

Please comment if this mitre clamp block works for you, because I have my doubts, but I also have no better idea...
