3D Print of Wall Workshop Kickstarter Edition - the low profile hobby painters' organiser

Hello. I have started printing backboards and so far so good. I have just printed a 6 inch hinged one and I can't get the hinge to move very far. Is this as per design? Oh and by the way I posted a question on the Porcupaint about 4 days ago. Cheers
