The White Huns, also known as the Hephthalites, were a central asian people connected to the Iranian Huns, who fought against Sassanid Persia. They are distantly related, though not directly connected, to the European Huns that attacked the Eastern Roman Empire under Atilla. based on archaeological evidence, it is presumed the Hephthalites had a strong cavalry force.
