French Marines, 1780

  These French marines cover the pre-Napoleonic era as well as early Napoleonic.  The scale is 1:72, but you should be able to get good results up to 1:150 scale using a resin printer. My motivation was to place them alongside my cannoneers and sailors (also available at this site) as snipers on my 1:150 scale 74-gun French warship. For painting my suggestion would be: coat=blue; front of coat, sleeves and collar=red; hat and shoes=black; pants and straps=white; epaulettes=gold. Both these F
