15mm Orthodox monks command group (XVII century)

Group of 4 orthodox monks with a holy icon and a church banner. Includes a singing monk with a holy book and 2 versions of an "igumen" (orthodox monastery abbot) - one unarmed and one armed with a heavy russian saber. These 15mm miniatures can represent orthodox clergy up to the end of the XVII-th century or even later periods. They were designed for the armies of Moskovite Tsardom or cossacks of Zaporozhian Host, but can represent self-defence forces of the orthodox monasteries in Eastern Euro
